What is Tarangini Natyasala?

Tarangini Natyasala is a place where kids can learn Tollywood/Bollywood and Semi Classical Dance taught by Teenage and adult Choreographers. They can also participate in Tarangini Shows conducted yearly for Ugadi (May) and Diwali (Nov). Depending on choreographers and studio availability classes will run year long.
 

Who can teach?
Teens and adults who have a dance teaching experience.Will be decided by Natyasala team.
 

How can I join the classes?
You register through Natyasala Website.
 

Who are the choreographers?
Natyasala will elect choreographers based on experience. If you are above 14 and have experience teaching, you can contact Natyasala for a lead Choreographer and Natyasala will assign a group based on dance experience. Natyasala cannot guarantee the selection but will definitely give a chance. If you would like to just assist kids in dance you are welcome to volunteer as assistant who will be working with the lead choreographer. 
 

What is the fee?
Tarangini Member- $50
Non-Tarangini Member-$60
 

When can we register?
8 weeks before Tarangini Ugadi / Deepavali Events. Registration Date will be announced by TARANGiNi NATAYASALA.
 

Do you provide Costumes?
No. But can assist you in the selection of the costumes
 

What’s so different at Natyasala? I can do the same old process of registering, teaching on my own and have kids perform, why should I join Natyasala?
You are always welcome to register/teach and perform on your own.
The benefits of joining Natyasala:

• Studio Availability for 2 Months (one Hour Class)

• Set day/time for practice

• Choreography and Choreographer provided

• Assist in the selection of Songs

• Assist in preparing the Audio file

• Assist in any additional things that make the program more attractive.

• Help for the individual participants to form a group for the events.
